Holy Spoilers Batman!

So it looks like the black planeswalker commander is Ob Nixilis! Apparently before he was turned into a demon by the chain veil.

A neat little easter egg in the new art - The glowing segments shown in Ob Nixilis' abdomen in the original art from Zendikar are the segments in his human form's armour.

Different artists, but still continuity in the flavour. Love it!

So MTG Salvation has decklists. I haven't done the count on any of the others, but the white deck has 84 cards...which does not make an EDH deck. I'll point out that Command Tower is not on the list currently, but hey there are more important problems to address, namely:
Containment Priest 1W
Human Cleric
Flash
If a nontoken creature would enter the battlefield and it wasn't cast, exile it instead.
2/2

Excuse me? I had a conniption fit over Grafdigger's Cage, since it was a colorless first turn drop that nullifies reanimator. This gives reanimator the middle finger, along with elves and Sneak Attack and Quicksilver Amulet (my go-to against Grafdigger's Cage) and turns Fiend Hunter into a 1/3 exile target creature upon entering the battlefield. Period. I don't think white has seen this sort of hosing since Iona.

Comeuppence is my new favorite white card that I don't have yet.

That being said, the red deck looks like SO much fun. The elf deck looks really great, but I already have an elf deck, and the white deck will wreck it.

You can find the decklists here, but I'm not sure what their source is. All I know is that they have all 100 cards listed for each deck. Whether it's accurate or not is another thing.

Ya Containment Priest is pretty bonkers, but it is still pretty conditional and nowhere near as broke as Iona lol. At best it'll set you back a few turns if you're playing reanimator or sneak and show, but won't 100% shut you out like Iona would lol. But what I do think is hilarious about Containment Priest is that she has a replacement effect, which means the creature doesn't even enter the battlefield for ETB triggers.

I'm liking Fell the Mighty:

I have a Kemba EDH deck and all my 2/2 cats would love this wipe.

Ya I agree, the red deck has MAD synergy. Way more than I thought any pre-constructed deck would. Also Wurmcoil.

Oh, also they cut command tower because these are mono-coloured decks.

Yeah, Containment Priest is absolutely ridiculous, when compared to its predecessor, Portcullis.

With Daretti, you can return him to play with his own emblem correct? It says "that card". I would assume so.

That's what I was saying. Like with liquid metal coating. That's dirty.
