Title: Pemmin's Aura or Freed from the Real?

pemmin's just for extra options, but in multi-color I'll take freed from

Pemmins any day.  If you are going to use freed from the real more than once, then you need two blue anyway.  Also the other abilities are great for keeping the creature alive.

Aura is freed but with more options, which gives it greater flexibility, your opponent fires off a terror fine cancel it, your opponent has all ground blockers fine fly over them, if you need a stronger toughness or power fix them.

all of which for the same cmc

I go for Pemmin's Aura... It can toughen your creature for that damage type and -1-toughness creature removal...

In general, Pemmin's Aura is better.

The only real advantage of Freed From the Real is you can enchant your opponent's creature and tap it down, but there are better options for that (e.g. Curse of Chains).

I guess Freed is more versatile? You can use it to untap your own guys or tap your opponent's depending on the situation?

Still prefer Pemmin's though.

For tapping down, there are much cheaper cards.
