Title: How bad of an idea is it to use Phage the Untouchable in your deck?

I noticed that the card Exhume states that each player must (if possible) put a creature onto the battlefield from their graveyard. This means that someone discarding it early on could lose by no real action of their own.
Another Phage-hate from the Urza block would be Flicker (and all its iterations in Avacyn Restored and beyond).
Willbender can deflect losing back to the controller of a Door to Nothingness, are there any more horrible ways.
Captain's Manuever or Glarecaster can reflect losing back to the controllers of Assassin tokens.
Don't get me started on the uses of Mindslaver on these types of cards.
Are there any other fun ways to make people lose when they use "instant-win" cards?

Playing old school a while ago and a guy throws Phage from his hand early due to a turn 3 Liliana Vess. Said Vess controler forgets Phage was in the graveyard and pops her big ability. Oops. HA!
