Up to this point, I've been working on getting all the components to build this deck. But, before I finished it, was wondering if you all could give some feedback on it, maybe if some things should be changed or if running too many or too few of a card. The idea behind my version is to make it cheap, mainly commons and uncommons if possible, and make it a strong synergistic deck. Anyways, up to now, here's my list:
4 Cartel Aristocrat
4 Bloodthrone Vampire
4 Mortus Strider
4 Doomed Traveler
3 Tithe Drinker
3 Deputy of Acquittals
4 Tragic Slip
4 Lingering Souls
4 Gather the Townsfolk
3 Rapid Hybridization
8 Plains
5 Island
7 Swamp
3 Cathedral of War

I'm currently debating whether to trade hybridization with orzhov charm due to functionality, as well as cathedral of war. If I take the cathedral's out, was thinking of replacing them with just 1 of each basic in the deck list. But, I hope you all like it and hope to hear criticism about it. I'm open to suggestions :)

Assuming you want to keep it standard.  Blue doesn't look like its helping you that much.  Losing it would be easier on the mana, your already considering losing rapid for the charm, and the charms 1st ability makes up for deputys (granted you would lose the body, but easily replacable) that leaves mortus.  While a repeatable creature, a repeatable token generator would do the same thing and can be easier on the mana.

With the sacrificing you can do you should beable to trigger morbid easily, so I would add some skirsdag high priest- a couple of 5/5 flyers sets a nice tone. I would add 3

4 orzhov charms seems right

I would add 3 treacherous pit dweller- a 4/3 for 2 mana is hard to pass up in a deck like this

Tithe drinker is a great card, however, she seems out of place, altars reap gives you some needed card draw while still working with the sac for gain theme.

I'd noticed the high priest in every aristocrats version there is, and was considering putting that in the place of tithe drinker. As far as mortus strider, the only goal with that was to be sure I always had a creature to sac mid to late game in a mirror matchup, and I'd never seen anyone do it up to this point. When I was looking at lists that had been in tournament play, I noticed people had kept a pattern going with the structure. After the first deck list, they went 3 mana or less for all of their cards. And, unfortunately, the suggestions you mentioned have been played together in a deck. And I had the same initial thoughts, but they are excellent suggestions. My goal is to make one that's never been played in a tournament, but is tourney legal. And I never have played esper colors aside from a draft, so I figured it'd be fun to test out. If I were to keep blue in for any reason, what would you suggest I change? And with your original suggestions, what do you think should be cut?
