I often pit my Rune of Protection deck against my Reanimator. My rune of protection deck runs:
My Reanimator runs:
My question is this: Both are in play, it is the Rune deck's turn. Rune deck has no creatures. During the upkeep, I want to use Emeria's trigger...what happens?
A) Since it is Rune's turn, Rune gets to choice how the triggers occur, thus allowing Rune to sacrifice nothing to Sheoldred and then have Emeria trigger.
B)Since it is Rune's turn and Rune is the active player, Emeria triggers first, bringing back the creature of Rune's choice and Sheoldred makes Rune sacrifice it (since priority would then pass to Reanimator.
C)It all depends on which entered the battlefield first as to order of resolution.
D)Something else decides the order than anything mentioned above.

D though a and b are almost there
since the triggers go off at the same time, they are put on the stack at the same time. and since they are controlled by different players they are put on the stack APNAP (active player non active player) order, in other words yours goes on the stack first and then shoelrd goes on top. stack resolves top down causing you to sac nothing and then bring back a creature
