Just curious what colors people like to play in EDH and/or any 60 card formats. Note that I am only asking about wedges and shards so keep guilds and mono-colors out of it unless you are a including other colors. Example: "I like Orzhov with red in (format) because (reason)" or, "I like Naya in (format) because (reason)". Discuss!

As far as edh goes, blue, white, and green. Green allows mana ramp while blue counters and white exiles, so no matter what, no opponent can undo the undone lol

forgot to tell you the reason why i love G/B/U... because green and blue have combo potentials... Black makes combos go off faster... if you need creatures, black buries them and then reanimates them... if you need other stuff, tutors searches for them...

I have 3 favorite combos:

1. Naya (red, green, white) because I love my werewolves to have lifelink.

2. Bant (blue, green, and white) because exalted is a piece of heaven.

3. Patriot (Red, white, and blue. aka "America") because I am a patriot.

I like Bant and BUG. I like having one of, or both white and green, since they most easily deal with problem artifacts and enchantments. I like having blue for counter magic, and black and white can also provide reliable boardwipes, as well as life gain if needed. Green also has the best ramp while Blue has great card draw.

Esper. No doubt about it. For 3 color, I'm Esper. (B/W/U)

I'd probably have to pick either BUG for combo (in EDH) and Naya for aggro in Standard. Too bad all the Naya generals are uber boring. Jund can be a lot of fun (with Kresh or dragons) and I'd say it's the most aggressive of the tri-color match-ups in EDH. I dislike UW and GW's play styles so Bant is my least favorite.
