If you were to cast unexpected results, shuffle, then use sensei's divining top or any scry mechanic at instant speed, could you choose what goes in play still, hypothetically speaking?

No, unfortunately Unexpected Results would have to completely resolve in order. If you were to respond to it, the top or the scry would resolve first, then you'd shuffle and cast the top card.

Dang lol. What if you were to use mana severance, pulled a snapcaster/omniscience or something, and combo off with it somehow? Would it be efficient enough to pull a combo or no?

I'm not sure what you're asking lol. Do you mean using man a severance to get rid of all your lands so that Unexpected Results hits a spell? That's good. Then you lost me at snap caster and omniscience lol.

For the first part, yes lol. And what I was thinking about was if you were to hit snapcaster and put it in play couldn't you pay the flashback cost to do it again in standard? And as for omniscience, when it goes into play, you could make multiple combos off of it regardless. But really was just curious about snapcaster. And to make it really go off, could you play runic repetition to get it back same turn?

Ohh, ok, yes. When you cast snapcaster without paying his mana cost, Unexpected Results should have already resolved and gone to your graveyard making it a legal target by the time he enters the battlefield. However, all this achieves is getting a 2/1 for 4 mana, then you have to pay another 4 to do it again, so avoid getting free Snapcasters with this spell lol. And yes, Runic Repetition could get it back again after you've paid the flashback cost. As for Omniscience, the only way I could see any kind of combo is with Tamiyo's emblem, where you could just cast your whole library.
