Title: Orzhov suggestions.

As some of you may know, I enjoy Orzhov. The taxation is irritating as hell, and really makes my opponents think before they act. I wonder though, how can I use extort to its fullest irritation? Hmmm...

Unfortunately it seems like the only things that make it more powerful are enchantments. Expensive enchantments (like E Blood, S Bond etc). Or creatures that require activation costs every turn like the guildmage. Building a deck around it only works if you have tons of 1-3 drops and I don't see it working as a main strategy in an EDH setting at all. That's what I think about it!

Tainted Sigil looks like a great fit for an extort deck. That brings it out of standard but I don't think extort was really aimed at that format anyways. At least not as a build-around-me mechanic.

A dedicated life gain deck would have to use green for that 7 life G/W instant, which hinders how many triggers you'd be able to run.

Anyways you could use extort in a burn deck with Cryptborn Horror and Rakdos as beaters of choice.

You could use extort as a Bloodchief Ascension enabler in a Mindcrank combo deck (Blind Obedience for great stalling).

Sygg, River Cutthroat would enjoy extort in nearly any deck built around him.

Here's a cool idea. A Needle Bite Trap deck with extort as the enabler, potentially running Mindcrank and the like as well! didn't read the card right :C

Blood Artist in a creature-kill-control deck sounds like it would paint some beautiful pictures of pain. Sorry for that. XD. Also Kalastria Highborn is like his big sister.

Sword of Light and Shadow is a lovely $30 compliment to any aggro extort deck. Ajani's Pridemate is also a huge fan of aggro-lifegain.

Souls of the Faultless is a hilarious blocker if you want to extort-to-win (have a slow game).

Balefire Liege has got the right idea. You could play him in a multicolor-only Borzhov deck to reap the full reward for casting spells.

Lich is the coolest draw engine in the world if you're feeling insane enough.

I'll let you look at the rest of the Gatherer search if these suggestions aren't enough! :)
