Nettle Sentinel - this says
Whenever you cast a green spell, you may untap Nettle Sentinel.

Is a green spell a green creature ability?

or only a green sorcery / instant?

or all of the above?

for example Bramblesnap
Creature — Elemental
(1/1)

Trample
Tap an untapped creature you control: Bramblesnap gets +1/+1 until end of turn.

Also, is an enchant a permant?

A green spell is any spell with a green (forest) in its mana cost. Nettle Sentinel is a green spell. Growing Ranks is a green spell. Child of Alara is a green spell.

Does that answer your question my friend?

If you cast the spell, you control the abilities. So yes, you can pay U to tap their creature.

Now I have a question because I'm a little FAIL today after being drunk last night...

Okay, the new Gatecrash card Illistionist's Bracers... if I have that on Aurelia, the Warleader and attack, I now have two additional combat phases? Firemane Avenger... 6 damage and 6 life? Boros Reckoner... double the damage?

If so... WOW.

Here it is from a Judge. A spell is ANYTHING other than a land that is put into the battlefield or graveyard from your hand. A spell may be a permanent or Instant/Sorcery. Examples of spells; Llanowar Elves, Hurricane, Stream of Life. Examples of Non-spells; Llanowar Elves tap ability, Giving Canopy Dragon flying until end of turn, creating tokens. A spell MUST be played from your hand, library (rare) or graveyard. Also, all spells have a type. Be it creature, artifact, instant, enchantment or sorcery. Permanents are creatures, enchantments, lands, artifacts, tokens. If I forgot anything, it's probably because it was unimportant.

Here's the answer to your question about the bracers;

Gatecrash: Illusionist's Bracers

Oracle Text:
Whenever an ability of equipped creature is activated, if it isn't a mana ability, copy that ability. You may choose new targets for the copy.
Equip 3

According to the text of the card, the only ones that will work with the bracers are the reckoner and the avenger. Those are activated abilities. No dice on the warleader.

I'm not understanding why it wouldn't work on the warleader... :(

The warleader is a trigger ability not an activated one. For the reckoner only the first strike will work with the bracers, and bracers doesnt work with the firemane because battalion is a triggered ability

I got a FAIL question NOW!

Whenever you cast an artifact spell, you may untap target creature.

does an artifact ability count as an artifact spell?
for example

-------------------------------------------

Salvaging Station

"6"
(6)

Artifact

"Tap": Return target noncreature artifact card with converted mana cost 1 or less from your graveyard to the battlefield.
Whenever a creature dies, you may untap Salvaging Station

------------------------------------------

so if i tap it is that an artifact spell? or only when i pay mana, or only when i summon an artifact form my hand?

THX!

hopefully this isnt too low for someone to read it :* lol

ANOTHER QUESITION! as well as the one from above

Greater Auramancy

Enchantment
Card Text:
Other enchantments you control have shroud.
Enchanted creatures you control have shroud.

for a creature to get shroud, does it have to be enchanted by another enchantment, previously, or do all my creatures get shroud, even if they are just by themselves with no "enchant creature" enchantment attached. :)

Activated abilities are NOT spells. Triggered abilities aren't spells either. It's only a spell if it comes from you hand, library, or graveyard. Sometimes spells can be cast from exile.

The enchantment says your enchanted creatures have shroud. No enchantment means no shroud. Simple!

No problem man. If I had someone to tell me rules 20 years ago, well...it would have been easier to play back in the day.
