Title: Easter Egg in RTR/GTC Guildgates

So by now I'm sure most of us have played with the Return to Ravnica guildgates. Nice manafixing in limited, they make Ogre Jailbreaker a good card, they're good extra fixing for Constructed if we're short on shocks, sweet dual lands for pauper, etc. But did you know that there is a hidden message in the gates? (Note: A bunch of other people figured this out, I'm just bringing you guys their work)

First, look at Tablet of the Guilds:

Note the order of the guilds, starting at the top and going clockwise: Azorius, Orzhov, Dimir, Izzet, Rakdos, Golgari, Gruul, Boros, Selesnya and Simic. Separate them by RTR/GTC and it's Azorius, Izzet, Rakdos, Golgari and Selesnya, then Orzhov, Dimir, Gruul, Boros and Simic.

Now let's look at the gates in that order. In each card, the flavour text has a few letters that are slightly raised.

Enter the Senate, the seat of justice and the foundation of Ravnican society - TIFI.

Enter those with the vision to create and the daring to release their creations. - HLRC

Enter and indulge your darkest fantasies, for you may never pass this way again. - EDAA

Enter those who are starving and sick. You are welcome among the Swarm when the rest of Ravnica rejects you. - GSV

Enter and rejoice! The Conclave stands united, open to one and all. - UON

Now the newly spoiled Gatecrash guildgates:

Enter to find wealth, security, and eternal life ... for just a small price up front. - WEYO

Enter and become a mastermind of spies, lies and deception. - ISET

Enter and leave the shackles of society behind. - LTAH

Enter with merciful hearts. Exit with battle cries. - LRCE

Enter and comprehend the perfection of orchestrated life. DOHR

Un-freaking-believable. I detest using the word "epic" but this hidden message is just epic.

you don't do enough typography. I was wondering about the offset letters... amazing easter egg

edit: rakados guildgate has the word "again" with the two letter a's quite near to each other on the bottom line. probably the most visible instance. you could always zoom in really close.

Well gee guys what the hell? Not even a spoiler alert?

Now that's rather not good of you...

Now I know the ending to this whole affair...

And I gotta say I'm most pleased indeed...

It's still a little preachy for my tastes though...

After all...hmhmhmhm...who doesn't love an ending that teaches us the true meaning of life?
