Have you guys noticed "Realms Uncharted" from RoE looks more like "Gifts Ungiven"? Except of course, Gifts Ungiven is for Any card and Realms Uncharted is for land cards only...

I noticed it but it didn't seem significant.

that was the theme that WotC was going for, the ability, the artwork, and even the naming themes are similar.

I really don't see the need for Realms Uncharted.

realms Uncharted isnt too bad in any case, really.  for 3 mana as an instant, youre garunteed to get at least 2 lands into your hand, which is useful for mana accel, or if youre just mana screwed atm.  plus in legacy or vintage formats, where Crucible of Worlds makes a fairly regular appearance, its 4 lands for 3 mana.
plus it helps you get any specialized lands you may need in order to become more of a threat. Ex: you either need 1 Blue or 1 Green mana to play your next spell (you have 2 spells to choose from, but either will work).   Chart up some Misty Rainforest, a Halimar Depth, a Forest and an Island. no matter what they pick, it ends up in your favor.   thats just an example tho.  i personally hope to get my hands on a playset.
