Title: Eldrazi and Experiment Kraj Question

If I had Experiment Kraj out, then put a +1/+1 counter on 2 different Eldrazis with Annihilator abilities, would they add together. For example, if Kozilek and Ulamog were out, would Kraj have Annihilator 8?

annihalator is not an activated ability. Kraj wouldn't get it at all

What exactly is the difference between an activated and triggered ability?
