Spiderman1100: Ben Franklin was playing with his Kite(sail) when he got struck by Lightning (bolt). Luckily, he was able to Withstand Death.

Theotherguy: Julius Caesar didn't know that some senators were forming a Conspiracy againsy him, even after hearing a Baneful Omen from a soothsayer. He went to the Senate, where senators, including his friend Brutus, turned on him with a Muredrous Betrayal. Brutus inflicted the critical Stab Wound, and Caesar collapsed in an Agonizing Demise.
