So its been awhile since we have done an EDH match off. think its about time to do one again.

Matches are best 2 out of 3, 1v1, and played on Cockatrice. Play is based following the guidelines provided by Mtgcommander.net, including their suggested banned list

But of course it wouldn't be me if i didn't provide some sort of deck building requirement. so here it is

In anticipation of the next block, your General must be one from the original Ravinca Block.

Now since there are so few options to chose from, rather then let the general keep dying to the legend rule the generals will have a "general exception rule". What this means is the legend rule will not apply to two generals with the same english name, however, if your opponent plays your general as one of their 99 cards legend rule applies as normal

Sign ups will be until Sunday EST, at which time pairings will begin.

Yeah, count me in, I'd be up for this. It could be kind of interesting to state guilds, and have it kind of be a guild v guild thing. If people wanted, their could be a 2 v 2 situation, each of the guilds 2 legendaries represented. I don't know, that could be too complicated, but I think it's an interesting concept.

EDH 2 headed giant representing the guilds, I would be completely down with that. If we can get enough players i wouldn't mind doing this
