I believe this is the sixth one.

If I attack with Myr Battlesphere, can I tap my Myr for the ability, then use Galvanizer to untap them and tap them again? My gut feeling is no.

From the looks of it, Myr Battlesphere is asking for myrs to tap when it is declared attacking. After you tap any number of myrs for its ability (even zero if you choose) the triggered ability ends, thus resolving.

What you totally want to do instead is use Lodestone Myr.

Is there a way to search for just vanilla creatures on magiccards.info?

Just use the Gatherer on the MTG site. You can filter for anything.

Uhm, not really. Looks like it has just about the same search parameters.

Ah, after reading your question a 2nd time I realize you meant vanilla as in, creatures without abilities. I mistook it for meaning white creatures.  Yeah, I'm not sure there's any way to filter for that.

Another thought, though........if you set the Gatherer parameters to arrange creatures in order of mana cost, you can search each color individually by cost. Most vanilla critters will be cheaper in cost and near the front of the list.

If you go to http://magiccards.info/search.html and go down to the "IS" section, you can specifiy "is a vanilla creature"

You can also use cardkingdom.com and use the advanced search to find mono and multi-colored creatures, enchantments and whatever else you are looking for. They also have great prices too.

Here's a Gatherer search of vanilla creatures. I just set it to creatures then specified that the rules text couldn't contain a vowel. It's not perfect, because that Red flip dude is there, but close enough. Gotta love Bear Cub ranked as the sixth best vanilla creature.
