Title: Planechase 2012

So... I never played planechase before.

Considering two of the legends that they are offering, I have to jump in.
Thromok the Insatiable has devour squared, and that is hilarious.
Krond the Dawn-Clad is going straight into my reanimation deck. Animate Dead and Necromancy are both enchantments.

So um, how do planes work anyway? The seem much more complicated than vanguard? Do you need a planes deck much like you need a scheme deck when playing archenemy?

Yes you do, you can have either one deck total or each player can have one
basically its a setting for your game. At start you flip over top plane and then start the game, once per turn you get a free roll of the planes dice, and then can roll more for the price of 1 extra mana per roll. so second cost 1, third 2, and so one. the dice have 2 symbols on it one activates the planes ability, the other planeswalks. THey are great fun to play with and are completely chaotic.
I have all but 11 of the atm.

Not to mention the other four sides of the dice are blank and do nothing.

That aside, planeschase is way better than usual humdrum dull gameplay...It's also epic with EDH...

There's a plain whose standing effect makes creatures cost (2) less. With my mono green deck, when I'm on that plain I won't even roll cause I don't want to plainwalk off of it.
