Title: Peacekeeper+Sky Ruin?

So I was dusting off my Rune of Protection deck to spar against my newly overhauled statis deck, when I ran into an obvious problem: Peacekeeper dies if you can't play mana for it.

However, I had Emeria, Sky Ruin in play, which lets me put a creature from my graveyard into play at the beginning of my upkeep (if I have seven or more plains in play, which by that point, I did.)

The errata on Peacekeeper now says: At the beginning of your upkeep, sacrifice peacekeeper unless you pay 1W.

My question is: Can I use Emeria, Sky Ruin to keep Peacekeeper in play during my opponent's turn?
If she comes into play from Emeria, do I still have to pay her upkeep cost, or has enough of my upkeep occured by that point?
If she is in play at the beginning of my turn, can I sac her first, then return her to play with Emeria; or will I have to pay her upkeep cost yet again since she left play?
What if I have one in play and one in my graveyard? Can I sac the first and bring back the second to keep it in play and then swap them the next turn?

You can control the order of the abilities resolution, because they happen at the same time.

So, basically, yes (I believe).

Both triggers occur on you upkeep so i dont know where your getting opponents turn from. And if peacekeeper comes into play during your upkeep then no you dont need to pay the cost because the time the trigger occurs (at the beginning) already passed, so it wont trigger again until the next time your upkeep begins.

Turbine is correct you can stack the triggers so that peacekeeper dies before something is brought back so with another in the grave, you can swap the two back and forth, however you can not bring back the same peacekeeper that died during upkeep. Reason being is that you need to choose the target for sky ruin when the ability goes on the stack and peacekeeper isnt in the grave at that point. so not a legal target.

 Does that clairfy the situation.

My fear was if Sky Ruin brough tthe Peacekeeper into play, the Peacekeeper's upkeep check would still activate on that turn.
What I hoped to accomplish is to have the peacekeeper die at the beginning of my turn, be brought back by the sky ruin and stay in play until the beginning of my next turn(thus during my opponent's turn), in which I'd have rinse and repeat.
As I currently understand from your input is that I'd need to have two peacekeepers minimium to keep the attacking from occuring, but using just one it can be brought back every other turn.

Thank you!
