I've noticed while playing different people that some pronounce mana as "man-uh" while others say "mon-uh".

How do you pronounce the name of our beloved currency?

I say MANa, cuz I'm a man and stuff.

Well, I'm Jamaican, so I call it MONa.

Let's ask the Oxford English Dictionary!

Pronunciation: Brit. /ˈmɑːnə/ , U.S. /ˈmɑnə/ , N.Z. /ˈmʌnʌ/ , /ˈmanə/

There you have it!

I should start calling mana magic to see how many people get annoyed. Nerd rage. ^_^

Okay, a little cultural history...Mana is a Polynesian word meaning, roughly, "spirit energy", and it is pronouced "MAH-nah". If used in this sense, I  always pronounce it as Polynesian. In games, be they video or paper, I pronounce it "MAN-nuh". For me, it comes down to usage.
