First of all, you just joined and have no right to go insulting other people's combos. I bet your combos suck too. Wait. . . oh yeah, you haven't posted any yet.

Not to be negative, but some people are a lot worse. I won't call names.

Also, I think that trial and error is a great idea. It is a lot better than spending your time memorizing the rules. (^_^)

Well, he does have a point there... Experience is the best teacher.. But what if he has no one to play with then the best way is to learn is to ask someone that has experience right? Well, don't mind this post i'm just sharing my thoughts.

everyone has there own house rules, take your friend for example, there are also people who have been playing for years that don''t know the current rules especially with all the recent changes, and there are people who are taught to play wrong because the people teaching them don't know. and there is nothing wrong with it, and it sure as hell doesn't mean we have to bad mouth them. Sites like these are for sharing and developing our own knowledge and experiences with the game

yeah, on the whole house rules thing. That was how magic was supposed to be played, that if you went to another group, then they would have almost a different game. The idea being that no one could fully come up with a perfect deck, then wizards started tornments so officail rules had to be put in place. Now it has reached a point that everyone feels the need to stay with the officail rules, and not make their own up. Me I have two house rules: one, Changlings aren't Slivers; Two, the ability of spellshapers is a spell, not an ability.

sivvi ru on crack or something i have a changling deck with a bunch of weenie changlings just to counter a sliver deck(not really) (still love ya sivvi)
