Title: MLP FanFics

I know I have been MIA from this website for a while. During my recent hiatus I finally took the time to finish off my to-read list and now I seem to crave more MLP related fan-fics. Does anyone here have any recommendations?

Personally I feel Massacre's problem was lack of build up. It was just...BAM! RAPE! SEX! BAD ONE LINERS!

It lacked any build up...and as far as character development goes...meh...none...at all...ever...

Though I must admit the graphic detail was quite enjoyable...it just doesn't outweigh the fic's faults...so Massacre is not best pony!


Cupcakes...this coupled with My little Elesh turned me into a brony...and a Gears of War addict...don't ask how though (Fluttershy is best locust queen EVAR!!!)...so I'd give it a HUUUUGEEEEEE thumbs up!

Finally Rainbow Factory...just no...nowhere near enough violence for this pony's discerning tastes. It needed more development, more story, and a damn good explanation that didn't sound like it was pulled out of Satan's Ass (Figuratively of course...)

What made cupcakes had for it was Pinkie's "harmless demeanor" Which portrays a well known trope called "It's always the quiet ones that snap first" Top it off with the marvelous addition of a demented "game" and you have a well developed psychopath. You pity her yet at the same time you hate this character. The graphic detail combined with how the stage is set leaves the story with a HUGE amount of hypothetical credibility. The fact that the Pinkamena persona is a trope associated with this doesn't hurt either, but to be honest I always see Pinkie in cupcakes with her usual hair instead little miss emo pants, Pinkamena. Then there's the whole even the most harmless of people have the capacity for murder.

In conclusion, Cupcakes was over all one of the better fics out there when compared to Massacre or Rainbow Factory, because it provides a Hypothetical that isn't blissfully retarded.

Rainbow Factory was written amazingly, but lacked the violence.

Sweet Acre Massacre was just funny. The writer was trying too hard for it to be violent.

the only fan-fics i've actually liked so far have been my little dashie and twogun's fics.

the rest have all been pretty bad.

Now to address Turbine. That one could ever find amusement in the thought of rape, mutilation, murder, and torture is pretty disturbing. That one would actively seek out reading on the topic is also disturbing.

Is it really such a bad thing? Take my tastes for example. I love brutal videogames, My writings horrify the average man, my thoughts are even worse, the things I think of doing to just people I don't even know, mere strangers...that is why we read terrible things. You read it and put youself in the killer's shoes. It helps to a degree. Deep down we all have that side to us. The violent side that wants to kill for no reason, that enigmatic force, that human nature...surely we have all experienced it?...but alas it is not right...and yet it is still there, watching, waiting, laughing...just waiting for you to give in. Go look at rapists and murders, they are often loners who have no real control over anything. So they use violenece as a means of control.

Evil? What is this "evil" you speak of? I don't believe in morality. Morality is for people who can only think in extremes or feel the need to classify everyone.

Most of who you call "evil" believe that they are in the right. It's all based on perspective.

Don't be blinded by society's biases. And don't classify all murderers and rapists in one group.

Following your logic of there being no absolute morality, absolutely nothing.

If I find myself the biggest and the strongest, I should act on my more animalistic urges. A world without absolute morality in one form or another, be it morality from religion or from the law is an unsustainable one. Look at the history of relatavist utopian societies. They remove all objective morality and at most have lasted for a few years. A relatavist viewpoint is a flawed one because it believes all beliefs have value. Not a beliefs do, some are greater than other and some are less than others.
