In case someone out there does not know
CMC of split cards is the CMC of first half of the card and the CMC of the other half. Ex: Bound // Determined has a CMC of 2 and 5.
I just found out that you can imprint a split card on Isochron Scepter with half is instant with CMC=2, half is an instant with other CMC>2 even if the other half does not satisfy Isochron Scepter's conditions. Ex: Bound // Determined, Odds // Ends. This alone is a good reason to say that isochron scepter is broken but there is another reason...
Once a split card is imprinted on Isochron Scepter and activated, You can choose between the two spells on the split card to play, even if the one you choose does not have a CMC of 2 or less... Ex: Bound // Determined = Once activated, you can play "Bound " even if it has a CMC of 5.
