Title: Question about the use of Manabond???

I would like to be clear on the effect of Manabond. I would like to know if it can be used as a discard engine, meaning for example, at my discard phase, even if I have no lands in hand, can i still reveal my hand and discard my whole hand. I'm asking because the oracle at the Gatherer differs a little to the text of the actual card. The oracle states you may reveal your hand at discard phase, put all land cards in hand to play and discard the rest. So in that case, i'm sure you can use it to get rid and discard the card or cards you have left in your hand at each of your discard phases even if you don't have any lands to put in play? I would just like a confirmation if this can be done. Thanks.

I'm not one of those techy-rules people, but I don't see why it wouldn't work.

But yeah I was wondering if it can be done that way. Maybe Gericault will confirm this sooner or later hopefully :D

The reason is that this card is giving me new ideas of a Legacy deck I wanna build around it if it can be used in that way.

Whats it been Arcanis...a year? 18 months don't think its 2 yet but could be wrong.  Maybe it's just me but it seems some old names have reappeared recently

but anyway, concerning manabond.  All that matters is that you chose to reveal your hand, the fact you didn't have lands is illrelevent.  You revealed, you discard.

Yea it's probably been around a year or so hehe. Been very busy lately for the past year school and work so usually now I come once in a while to get answers from questions like these for example. I'm still finding time to continue playing magic and satisfy my interest to eternal formats. For example Manabond was giving me an idea to fit in a RG Madness deck I wanna build for Legacy(don't worry Manabond not beeing the only discard engine in the deck). So yeah that's pretty much it.

And Turbine for my avatar, I found it in a forum a while back, actually was someone elses avatar, and I stole it to be my avatar Here at MTGCombos, I found it so cool, Love Arcanis, but to be honest I dont remember which forum it was or the link to it... If you wanna know it tell me and i'm sure i can find it back again.
