Title: Forgetting cards?

This thread is going to be based entirely off of looking for cards that you forgot the name of, or looking for a card that has a certain ability.

To start it off, what is the card that says:

1: the next time that you would draw a card this turn, instead gain 5 life.

I'm not really forgetting a card, but is there a card that is red and can give lifelink?

I also need a blue card that allows a creature to block as many creatures as it can.

There are 3 cards with red in their mana costs, but not strictly red. There is Brion Stoutarm, a 2RW with Lifelink, Titanic Ultimatum, RRGGGWW Sorcery that gives creatures +5/+5 and Trample, Lifelink, and First Strike. Lastly there is Scourge of Nobilis, 2r/w Enchantment that gives the enchanted creature "If enchanted creature is red, it gets +1/+1 and r/w: +1/+0 until end of turn, and if the creature is white, it gets +1/+1 and Lifelink." There is no blue card that I can find that does what you're requesting. I know of Thoughtweft Trio, but that creature card is white.

Well, I was gonna give Goblin Artillery, Lifelink so I can gain two life, but I might end up using Basilik Collar. (UGH)

Then I was gonna use the blue card on Gamazoa so I could block all his creatures, then tap it and send them away.

Yeah, that combo would be broken. It'll happen eventually, don't worry. There might be an artifact that gives a creature lifelink.

Well, a few terms for broken could compliment what I mean by it. We'll use one. In one scenario, broken means ruined, which also means it's nearly impossible to fix or overcome. Basically what I'm saying is that noone would be able to beat that combo once you got it out.

not to the extent of diabolic there are green cards that let you tutor for other green cards, some white cards that let you look for enchantments, i can't think of any in red except for a few that let you look for goblins.

yay for mirage :)  buddy of mine sold me a binder that had 4 full sets of mirage for 150.....the 4 phyrexian dreadnaughts and the four Lions Eye Diamonds alone fetched me double that lol.  yay for good friends that havent played in 10 years lol

Wolfclan, as far as Gomazoa goes, try Blaze of Glory.  Yes its an expensive card, but well worth it, if youre playing the Gomazoa in a competitive legacy tournament.

nvm, just found 2 cheap cards that do it for you, both are white.

LOL, that combo is so easy to pull and very rewarding... don't you think... i mean pay 2 colorless to draw 3 cards... You can even do it multiple times in a turn with voltaic key or any untap artifact effect...

He not only assures himself that the lighting will strike twice, but when and how it will.

What is the card that gives you protection from black? It might actually prevent damage from black sources though. It is not Circle of Protection.

yeah that would be seriously broken, the best i can think of is teysa changing white to black or vice versa.  added benefit of removing creatures from the game

I also remember rotlung reanimator from onslaught... it has a combo... you only need to change the 2/2 zombie into 2/2 cleric... and i know that you know how to do that... Of course i'm pertaining to the rule text of Rotlung Reanimator... Try using Conspiracy or Artificial Evolution...
