Angelic Destiny

This card is just seems to be way too powerful pay 4 and make just about any creature a bad ass... O and if the creature dies its no big deal you can just pay four to make another creatue into  a bad ass... Rediculous

Then again it's all about timing. for this era and set i couldnt say it's overpowered, there's just alot of hate running around, yet, this type of environment id say is good...i dont know about you and i dont wanna rain on anyone's parade, but my definition of overpowered, it's definitely the planeswalkers... wouldnt you agree?

Hehehe...i could sympathize with you cuz i use that alot...but as i said there's just too many hate right now, most you'd be surprised if it would still hit your graveyard..

if it's gonna be an overpowered card disregarding the hates, if it's up to me it would be the following..

ALL THE PLANESWALKERS

Multiabilitied-Imbalanced Creatures like Phyrexian Crusader,1.first strike, 2.Protection from red, 3. protection from white. 4.infect, 5.tomake it worse it's ontly 1BB(kinda unfairly imbalanced huh)

Most commonly - Blue Counters, Black Discards, white and green disenchants, and Red Ancient Grudge..

But i like this type of environment cuz it makes us better players, if so one is overpowered, it often gets compensated.

I know Tezz of Bolas is OP cause I used to use him in my Type2 deck before undying killed control.

Unless a ton has changed, Tezz is one of the least powerful Planeswalkers.

No he's not. Neither of them are. Tezz of Bolas can be abused when used correctly.

all you need to kill a planeswalker is invisible stalker and some creature pump. Jace TMS wasthe only OP planeswalker.

Just my opinion, but I think that the Agent of Bolas version of Tezzeret deserves the second place, he exceed in so many ways the Seeker version in tournaments.

Original Tezzeret has more combo potential though.

If a planeswalker sees play in vintage, its obviously more powerful than a walker that sees a tiny bit of play in standard only...!

Hum... not like that.

The Seeker version is really abused in Vintage, due to the mana accels of the format, that "minimize" the cost of him and, as Turbine just said, upgrade the combo potential of the deck.

In other point, we see the Agent of Bolas version, 1 mana less than the previous version, and a center piece of many artifact decks, specifically in Legacy, Modern and Standard, as a win condition and an important piece of good synergies.

What I mean is: I only see the Seeker version playable, competitively, in Vintage, due to it cost (5 is a little much) and because mostly of the artifact decks in non-Vintage formats are based in synergies, not combos.

But, obviously, that's not a certain equation, everyone have their own opinion :)

I dont see agent played at all in legacy, at all in modern, and barely in standard...!

I can't imagine Agent as being useful in Legacy with all the other better cards.

DREDGE!

I bought 4 foil faithless lootings, and 4 LEDs, and they're playing really well!

Just one example at Legacy:

http://manadeprived.com/2011/03/food-for-thought-tezzeret-affinity.html

And one in Modern:

I don't know you guys, but I see them with some frequency at MTGO and official tournaments. But, anyway....

yes when it comes to affinity agent is the better of the two, however seeker is better in the none affinity realm seeker offers alot of combo potential-such as time vault.

However, as I have said before you can't call a card a powerhouse if it only works in a specific deck or format.  So here is my top 5, based on thecost and fact they are powerhouses in any deck that can cast them

1) Jace-tms

2) elspeth, knight-errant

3)  ajani vegant

4) garruk 1.0

5) gidion

Chandra the Firebrand can be OP in red/black removal heavy decks. Garruk Primal Hunter would be OP  in my mono green deck. And Jace Memory Adept. All you need is his 0 ability.

Maybe you haven't gotten the definition of OP yet, so let me say it here, so you can't use ignorance again. A card is OP if it has some great abilities/PT for it's cost, and would thus work well in most decks of it's color(s). See?
