Turbine I want to talk to you. I'm not gonna threaten you, insult you or even gonna post cuss words. I just wanted to have a calm, civlized, adult conversation. And if you're under 18 I'll be willing to treat you like an adult cause if you're a teenager and you're parents treat you like a child and use their parental authority to bully you I know what that's like cause I'm from the South. Also if you we're or are being bullied I know what that's like too. And if you've suffered a traumatic event I know what that's like cause I've suffered several and still do. I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt.

First: You say that cause you're a brony you love and tolerate but that's not true. You've bullied me and singled me out since I started posting here and you still do. You haven't changed at all. You're still the same snarky jerk you always were.

Second: If we had ever met in real life by now you'd probably be dead. Right now I'm just in a more somber, diplomatic, reasonable, negotiable mood.

Darn it Narcinek! I said it already, you have not one ounce of tact, stop doing this (or at least consult somebody before you do). Look the point is, yes you are trying to be...friendly? But starting off your post with such a wonderful hypothetical as a death match is not how to go about it. (I should know I got expelled for that little detail back in 5th grade). Just say you apologize for being violent and that should cover it. That's all that needed to be said. Not one word more or less (Though I suppose a dance tune would be applicable to some degree). But on a side note trying to sound reasonable by posting "I just want to talk" followed by an indirect death threat (Which I suppose I give you a few points of tactfulness because you were indirect about the threat. Not the death part though or the person you were threatening. There is after all only one Turbine on this site). Trust me on this one detail though. They are calling you idiotic and that is rude yes, but regardless aren't we old enough to know the hurtful opinions of others matter very little? Yes? No? Maybe so? Either way the insult thrown is due to the influx of unoriginal or unnecessary combos. While an insult isn't the best way to handle it they have tried many times to let you know what you were doing. Compare it to a dog's barking if you will. If an animal would not shut it's mouth  outside of your home wouldn't you shout at it to shut up? Indeed you would, but it would do little good. Now combos are fine and good, but they aren't everything on this site (Though the site name mtgcombos.com becomes a bit of a misnomer at that point). Try making a general chat thread ever so often. Or you can strike up conversations with some folks on Cockatrice they are nice enough (except the user known as Sweety Belle, that user is a big meanie). Just don't flood the site with combos, instead try posting one new combo and jot down the rest. If no one comments this allows you to gain a little insight on what makes a good combo/synergy so you can improve on your combos. So there you have it my opinion on all this without the need for an awkward conversation during a heroclix scenario. (By the way, I'm thinking we will try to have a 500 point scenario sometime this week and this time we will stick to that point value). Again my friend I mean no disrespect, but a little honesty is required from your friends at times.

@Pinkie...well seeing as Celestia's a Sun Godess I'd assume she is as old as the sun itself (Meaning she will never truly change age). Now I'm assuming the reason Luna can go from  filly to full grown mare is because the Moon has differing cycles which in a cheesy way justifies Luna's shift from filly to mare. Or just use anime logic...your call.

These guys sound like seasoned players. Seen it all. Heard it all. They post some pretty wild combos that will make me so very hated on at my FNM. If you post something they've already seen a million times and you get thrashed for it then go back to the drawing board. Check before you post. I got thrashed before for a "combo" and it's made me think differently, harder. To me, it'd be nice to at least post one combo that might be useful in return for all the stuff I got from this site.

And Turbine, I really did like that hipster dash avatar, too! Bring it back!

How have I not noticed Kulelna up until now, and looking back, he seems like a serious troll.  I don't think that Mechy (or whatever he goes by now) is really a problem, sure he post to many combos, but for a while back I remember turbine doing that too.


Though as a tip of advice to almost everyone (there are many on this site who already understand) trolling is the worst way to handle trolls.

Narc, you should do battle with Turbine the old fashioned way...with Magic cards! At this point it would be like a Wrestlemania grudge match! There's regular, friendly gameplay but this has backstory which I'm digging.

I repeat. my decks are more synergy minded and as a result so are my combos.

And the way I see it my combos ARE original. If they weren't they'd already be in the system when I post them. They're similar but different. Different in purpose and function.

I just want to say that I don't like EDH cause you can only use only 1 of each card, have no vintage decks, and my only legacy decks are a green/white deck and an Elf deck.

1 of each card is what makes EDH the best. Each game with the same decks turn out differntly (unless someones playing like 20 tutors or heavy draw.)

I just hate how so many other decks are built to pull out a very specific win-con, and it's all about how consistent of a deck can you make. EDH requires far more inventiveness, a vast knowledge of the cards that are available, and rogue EDH decks are ridiculously fun.

yes, you can have any number of basic lands in your deck as long as they coincide with your generals colors. you can only have one of any other card though.
