Suppose you were going to play magic with a stranger one-on-one (ie. you haven't seen their deck). Pick your favorite deck for this type of play and do the following. (whether or not your deck is tournament legal is irrelevant to me).
Add up the converted mana cost of all spells in the deck.
Count the number of lands.
Count the number of nonlands.
Report the numbers.
Here is mine.
total converted mana cost: 115
lands: 20
nonlands: 40
perhaps we can learn something from this data? If you want you can add more info like the colors in the deck or w.e you like (for instance if you have many spells or abilities which add mana to your pool etc.). I am just interested to see how varied the results are. I hope enough people do this that we can make observations.

Here is my information. However I don't see how this will help you, without knowing whats in the deck it is empty information. What I mean is in this deck I have 2 emrukel so that is 30 cmc but I don't hard cast them I flash them in so that 15 only costs 2. Also have vesuvian shape shifter which costs 5 but I play him using morph. needless to say how i play the cards is what I base the land base on
total cmc 131
lands 21
non lands 39
What are you trying to figure out?
