So Sorin created the angel that protected the world, interesting, though to much along the karn menmarch lines for my tastes

Good GOD! It's like WOTC want's another goddamn control meta! This thing is pure hax! There was a whole story that went with him. Basically there was a famine on innstrand and his grandfather tried to help the situation. He used magic to change some of the people to beable to feed on blood instead of food therefore it left more food for the people who needed it with the benefit of creating a method of controlling the rapidly growing population. So the famine ended and vampires were born. The granfather found a method to become immortal by becoming a vamp and when he did the procedure to his grandson sorin the trama caused him to spark.
Sorin traveled then always keepping an eye on his home when he saw vamps becoming the dominate species and overrunning the humans he had simpathy returned to innstrand and created the angel acylen and her church to create balance. He left again to wander leaving her running things but he watched from afar.
Now she disappeared evil is overwelming and he has returned.

He is b and w because he is good and evil. He is a vamp but not one of them. Infact they consider him an enemy. He still maintains sympathy for what he once was and feels responsible for his families part in the evil on innstrand

I think i have to agree that the 2nd ability may be slightly OP, purely because there is NO WAY to get rid of emblems!
