Title: The Jester Presents...(A Heroclix Scenario Breakdown)

Twogunkid asked me to break down what would go down at the Heroclix scenario...It took several hours so I can only give the main turning points of the battle.

The first few turns started relatively slowly. I split my six man warrior team into two squads ( Delta squad: General RAAM, Skorge, and Aaragorn. and Alpha Squad: Two Kantus Priests and Legolas.)

I moved in to help my friend  who plays a WTF team in each scenario ( The Endless Lunch Break Brigade: Zombie Spiderman, Bob, Agent of Hydra, Batman Beyond, Abomination, Ring Wraith, and Ghost Rider. Word is Hydra still doesn't know that bob has taken a lunch break for about several months now.)

My friend Narcinek (A.K.A. Mechanist Legend.) Played a S.H.I.E.LD team (Nick fury (S), spies, Sin, black widow, parasite, and a few others. He kept outwitting Abomination, so I charged in with Legolas, and made myself a target for the next few rounds.

Meanwhile I used Delta Squad to move into the upper building via locust horde TA and started using Grenadier Tactics (Ink grenades are particularly nasty. (1 Penetrating Damage and an A.O.E! X3). RAAM however took 4 damage from a couple of Kantus's played by player 4 (A.K.A ShadowInsanist.) (Again Ink grenades are nasty as hell) His team was: General RAAM, 2 Kantus Priests, Master Chief, Dominic Santiago, Marine, Jackal, and GENERAL THUNDERBOLT ROSS TM.

He started using the priests to make me back off, but got pissed when I healed RAAM to full health,  by moving My Priests and Legolas back to the home spawning area I was able to use perplex and support to get a new lease on life (Shrieking Priest ability is awesome.) Skorge however bit the dust when Shadow's RAAM started up troika blast for 3 psychic blast damage a round.

Eventually Aarogorn became pinned down by Dominic and Parasite, and for some reason Skaar. (I seriously have no clue when he was even in the game...I guess I wasn't paying attention.) So the General put him in his place. (Troika Blasts and clouds of Krill is so SWEET!)  But regretably I got so caught up in probability controling rolls that My priests got killed pretty quickly.

Eventually The Lunch break brigade player was overwhelmed and was dead. Legolas got hit by a grenade and lost Leap/Climb, and was 1 click from death. (The comedy being he was on a building...worst death ever...) Afterwards Shadow just picked us off one by one...the end result was...well kinda lame.

Overall a fun and successful 600 pt. scenario.

Dang thoose priests have support probability control and perplex? You seemed to take the team (with tha exception of the lunchbreak brigade) with the lowest point individual heroes) I like your strategy.

600 pts battle

I'd probabyy take

The Flash 110

Green Lantern 80

6 rookie con artists 60 pts

Wiccan 80

Scarlet Witch 24

Destinty 22

Black Cat 36

Cyclops 75

Black Panther 41

Captain America 51

Finall Total 599

My Strategy involves using Wiccan green lantern all the con artists scarlet witch and destiny as support for the flash enabling him to use hypersonic speed to KO people in one fell swoop through perplexing and probability control and with GL's Defend 17 the con artists have decent defense. Black Cat and everyone else function as support for cyclops who with three attacks at range ten can pick the enemy apart. (printed in the first set and I still think he's the best) Wiccan Black Panther Cap Witch Flash and Destiny can use move actions from team abilities and so can Black Cat because she's a wild card.

There's my grand strategy. It works best when opponent's go for a few big people than a diverse squad. I prefer numbers to one all powerful clix.

Anyway after the 600 point scenario we did a 300 point scenario. My team was:

Nick Fury (white) 109
Nick Fury (Black) 63
Black Widow 59
Sin 57

Total 288

We were going by victory points which means when we killed an opposing character we got points equal to their points and I had a S.H.I.E.L.D. theme team (Jester I checked the rules of theme teams you can only  do Probability Control once for every two members the entire game). White Nick Fury removed an action token from another S.H.I.E.L.D. member every time he was given an action. Plus I was abusing 3 key abilities Stealth, Willpower, and Outwit. Stealth states that lines of fire can't be drawn to them while they're in hindering terrain, Willpower states that  putting the second action token on them doesn't cause pushing damage, and Outwit lets you counter an opposing characters ability.

The 600 pointer I placed 3rd but the 300 pointer I placed 1st.

P.S. Parasite is awesome.

I've met a bunch of people who role-play and play Magic who aren't nerds. I've also met nerds who don't do either.

Every one is nerd about something. However, we are all minor on the nerd scale.

That guy is a pretty big (insert swear word I would never actually say).

In some of his other ones he goes around telling children santa isn't real.

I have no problem with athiests. They are some of the best people to talk to to better understand what you believe. I have a problem with jerks.

How I just KNEW Mechanist wouldn't understand the most obvious sarcasm I have ever uttered (not really, it's a keyboard, but you know what I mean)! This is a Magic site. We talk about MLP and this "Heroclix" thing.

In my definition, a nerd is a socially-awkward person, usually with bad hygiene, who has an obsession.

I'm atheist, but I don't go around on this forum trying to convert people. I'm sure there's Christians on this forum, but no one has tried to convert anyone to Christianity yet! You know what this shows? That no one here gives a fuck about religion.

Telling kids Santa isn't real is successful trolling!

...Nerdiness is present in anything of interest...so basically everything except Books-a-millon...I had a gift card for that place and used it to get a gift card for somewhere else.

So, what's a political nerd? Or a sports nerd? Would a pro football player be a nerd, because he's obsessed with football?

Yer damn right I got pissed. I was playing one of them and was using grenades to flush Mechanist out of cover. By the way, we have been playing stealth a little incorrectly...

It seemed like a dull ending because I play passively. I never charge in, and always make the opponent come to me. I do not play 1v1 a lot under that premise. I am used to DnD type "negotiation" scenarios, so i am the "go to guy" for a favor here and there. Consider me the Robert Smith of Heroclix, the guy to go to to bargain for a favor in exchange for a truce or assistance in return. I never expected to win, I just like using probability control to screw with everyone's moves, etc etc.

Oh, right, I meant Narcinek not Mechanist. Woops. I haven't been on here in forever. Lol. What's with the new alias, Narcy?

Roger Smith, not Robert Smith. Woopsie. Also, the 300 pointer was won by Narcy because Jester is still working on the Actionclix crossover rules and had yet to edit out a severely OP aspect.

Well Insanist I just decided to change things up. By the way it wasn't the Stealth of my figures that made them so dangerous. It was their Outwit. Especially Parasite. Plus I forgot about my own theme team ability.

Okay you guys have to pick your favorite heroclix figure.

I'd have to go with the original vetran Taskmaster

Starting stats

Move: 8 with stealth

Attack: 12 with Blades Claws Fangs

Defense: 17 with energy shield deflection

Damage: 2 with perplex

Range: 6 with 2 shots

Minion of Doom Team Ability

75 pts lasts for 7 clixs staying pretty strong down the dial

General RAAM

151 Points, Grenade Pool +3

Starting Stats:

Movement: 6, Grenade Scatter: After he moves he may throw a grenade as a free action.

Attack: 11, Troika Blasts and Clouds of Krill: He can use Psychic blast. At the start of the turn he has no action tokens on him he may use smoke cloud as a free action. Until the beginning of his next turn any character caught in a hindering terrain marker placed by RAAM gets a D6 rolled for them at the end of my turn. On a result of 5-6 give the character 1 damage.

Defense: 16, Invulnerability

Damage: 3, leadership.

My favorite Heroclix figure is the 150 pt Hulk. Starting off he has 11movement with Leap/Climb, 11attack with Super Strength, 18 defense with Impervious. Plus when he's on his third health dial he gains a special ability where if he would take pushing damage instead heal him by 1.

Parasite, Sin, All Star Bizarro, and Armadillo are my runner up favorites.

Well we had another Heroclix battle. A Zombie Fight. Pretty much it's 3 on 1. The 3 get 500 pts each and the 1 gets 1000. The 1 is the Zombie Master. The Zombies can't make ranged attacks and if 1 of the 3's characters are damaged they become Zombies and turn to the 1's side.

Here's the laydown of it. Jester went for ranged power houses at 4 characters, I went for 6 ranged characters that could negate oppossing characters powers, had willpower so that they could make extra moves without taking pushing damage, and a character that removed action tokens from a character, and someone (I'm not gonna say who) but they got the bright idea to run a melee colossal. I lost all my characters first but I CARRIED us early game providing cover fire when needed and at the same time killing off Zombies, Jester made use of broke special abilities, and 3rd guy charged in with melee (which all 3 of us regreted. Time went by and we were killing zombies but finally we started having our characters stolen (namely mine) so then i had to kill off my own figures which helped the Zombie Master stall. Finally i had my last figure stolen meaning I was done. Then the 3rd guy fell. I had killed most of them and the 3rd guy had killed a few so then it was just Jester with 2 figures against 3 Zombies. We prevailed in the end though. Metropolis was saved and a zombie infestation stopped
