So lets say i have infinite sphere of resistances out, and They have infinite mana. Can spells be played. See i think it comes to the situation to where you have to declare an actual number of how many of the sphere or mana you get but i dont know. Also what if i had both infinite spheres and helm of awakenings out. Yes you can make infinite of these things there are combos that will let you do so lol :D

Eventually, one of you would have to give up. I don't know the rules on it though.

You make a copy of Sphere of Resistance.
He pays an extra mana.

Etc.

It wouldn\'t be a draw if one of you could stop the loop.

There will be no draw or forced lose because no loop is created.
When a spell is cast the formula that determines what needs to be paid is mana cost plus/minus any cost modifers. So in the case of inifinate spheres the formula is mana cost plus inifinate. If a player can make infinate mana they can pay the cost. So they can play spells.
In the case of inifinate spheres and helms the formula is mana cost plus inifinate (for sphere) minus infinate (for helm) ...end result sphere and helm cancel each other out leaving only the mana cost needing to be paid

Well, Magic only uses real numbers. The rules say so. Infinity isn't real, so this won't ever happen (when you are following the rules). You can make a "shortcut" (also in the rules) and propose to have 1e2e9 copies of something (1 followed by 2,000,000,000 0s) but your opponent can say "no" or make more copies than you did (unless you say "no"). I love reading the rules. My friends made me look into this when I tried to add 3i orange mana to my pool.

That's what I was saying. What would happen in a loop that the player's make (Where they keep alternating)? When would it have to end?
