whats your favorite utility card (i dont know if thats the proper term, but... ) - any type of card that gives you an advantage (mana, card advantage, creature numbers, etc...)

mine would be priest of gix/ priest of urabrask (theyre essentially the same thing, one is just a red version and one is a black version)
simply because, its basically a free spell.
for example;
turn 1 - swamp, dark ritual into a priest of gix, (then another priest of gix if your lucky), then a decent black creature.

as well, both those creature can provide triple colour mana - which is always good for decks that arent mono-coloured or decks with alot of non-basic lands that produce colourless mana

Theyre the same as all of the urza's "untap x lands" spells, but not as good because you cant use them with OP lands!

I've been branded by my play group with Hull Breach as my favorite card... dunno if it's my favorite, but definitely in all my decks that have Red/Green in them...

Unmake. For monoblack its a mega dark banishing, and a rare removal spell in mono white. I always enjoy Captain's Manuever though.

Sylvan Messenger - Must have in Elf Decks, provides a kind of  "Impulse", but aprimorated.
Wren's Run Vanquisher - 3/3 body, deathtouch, 2 mana? This card kick the a$$ of the legacys Tarmogoyf and Phyrexian Dreadnought while in Elf Decks.
