what, in your opinion, is THE best combo deck for 1st or second turn wins? :)

in my opinion it'd have to be the deck with a ton of leylines + serum powder + opalecence + serra's sanctum :)

for second turn wins,
my favorite is the about face + tireless tribe combo :)

Absolutely, I said ABSOLUTELY, the Long. Dec.
The deck consist in:
1 - Use a lot of mana accels in the first turn (moxes, lotuses, dark rituals, etc.)
2 - Use draw cards to get as many cards as possible in your hand.
3 - Play Yawgmoths Will to bring back all the cards used and finish the game using the storm of Tendrils of Agony from your hand.
Probably the most known and fearsome deck ever made: 60% of chance to end the game in the FIRST TURN.

The almost guaranteed first turn win deck I played once was,

20x Lightning Bolt
20x Time Twister
20x Black Lotus

Guaranteed Mulligan redraw if you need it back when rules said you could basically keep drawing until you're happy with your beginning hand.

Oh, found the best combo! Only requires 3 cards (in hand)! Protean hulk, Flash, black lotus (or for budget legal version: a land and Elvish spirit guide/simian spirit guide or any mox)! From there theres lots of things you can do! 4 Hedron crab, 4 dryad arbor, 1 sakura tribe elder, or karmic guide, and carrion feeder, use karmic to return hulk, sac hulk to carrion feeder, grab kiki-jiki, create a loop with carrion feeder, kiki-jiki, and karmic, creating an infinitely big carrion feeder and an infinite amount of karmic guides! (The second one is better because you dont need to find 4 of anything, so theres a higher chance that it wont be in your hand!)

Im not sure whether itd work, but you could probably pull off

25 black lotus
20 squadron hawk
15 ancestral recall

for a turn 2 win!

Maybe 5 mass hysteria for turn 1?!

Bro, it DOESNT WORK! You play the leylines after you keep your hand! You keep your hand after you finish mulling!

Multiple rules:

At the beginning of a Magic game, you draw the top seven cards of your library. That’s your starting hand. If you don’t like your starting hand of cards for any reason, you can mulligan. When you mulligan, your hand is shuffled into your library and you draw a new hand of one fewer cards. You can mulligan as many times as you want, but you draw one fewer card each time. When both players like their opening hands, you start playing.

8/15/2010 Your "opening hand" is the hand of cards you decide to start the game with after taking any mulligans.

8/15/2010 After all players have decided not to take any more mulligans, if the starting player has any Leylines in his or her hand, he or she may put any or all of them onto the battlefield. Then each other player in turn order may do the same.

103.5. Once all players have kept their opening hands, if any cards in the starting player's hand allow that player to begin the game with those cards on the battlefield, he or she may put any or all of them onto the battlefield. Then each other player in turn order may do the same.

yes leyline and serum powder do not work together, however for what morbid is talking about the idea is to use the powder to replace your mulligans so you don't need to give up cards, and can max out the number of leylines in your opening hand.  drop all your leylines before your turn, on your turn drop the sanctum and follow with the opal.  Since the leylines were under your control at the start of turn they attack you win

Curiosity: How the Fluctuator Deck works?

edit: Also, someone posted something about the Long deck above, is the Fluctuator more powerful than Long?

You play Fluctuator with a ton of 2 cost cycling cards. After cycling most of your deck, you use Songs of the Damned to get lots of mana and play something like Exsanguinate or use Haunting Misery.

Or maybe that's why they were restricted. . .
