Title: Favorite card. Let's talk

In this forum I'd like to discuss everyone's favorite cads. I'd like to discuss why it's our favorite card and how and why we use it.

My favorite card is Mishra Artificer Prodigy. He's not exactly a game winner but he's one of those cards that if your opponent don't kill him they'll suffer in the long run. Every time you play an artifact spell while  you have him out he'll search you're hand, library and graveyard for another copy of it and put it into play. When you're doing this with artifact creatures it'll create field advantage,

I look forward to your feedback.

Oboro, Palace in the Clouds is my favorite.
Reason: Amazing art work and in anyways, it's a land with no drawbacks and one ability incommon for lands.

Favorite card??? Are you crazy? When you've seen hundreds (maybe thousands) of cards, it's impossible to settle on one as your favorite!

Phage the Untouchable. Shes a beast. She may not be the most practical drop, but when she hits and triggers it is priceless.

Lightning Bolt. Versatile, cheap, and quick. Lightning Bolt is the definition of red.

The best card in Magic is obviously Steamflogger Boss. It is my favorite card.

for me it is Balance for only 2 mana... when played right it is a wrath of god, armagedon, and can leave everyone without a hand very fast

or Biorhythm, simply because you can kill a game to the point that no one wins

or Enduring Renewal, tons of combos

or Overeager Apprentice

also mind twist, there have been many times i have emptied a opponents hand with that on my first turn (sometimes they start with no hand after i am done with them)

Soltari Guerrillas

Shadow and a 3/2 creature.

He also has a very special ability to redirect his damage to whatever creature that you want to get rid of.

Between these two abilities equipments have great synergy with him. Best Equipments for him are: Swords of Anything, Basilisk Collar, Quietus Spike.

Most important of all he is BOROS!!!!!!

2RW mana cost is a little high for a shadow creature but all the ways to abuse his unique abilities and the synergy that he can give your deck is amazing.

eye of the storm.

Its ridiculous change in the outcome of any game is substantially large. There is infinite turn, damage, life, creature, etc, combos with this card. My favorite either being the knowledge exploitation or, if your using the original text of the wishes, you can play every instant and sorcery in magic.

The original text of the Wishes?

Original: Choose a card you own from outside the game and put it into your hand. You lose half your life, rounded up. Remove Death Wish from the game.

Oracle: You may choose a card you own from outside the game and put it into your
hand. You lose half your life, rounded up. Exile Death Wish.

What's the difference now? I don't see much help in the fact that you have to, instead of "may". Remove from the game is the same as Exile.

what i mean by original text is that you can look for a card you own anywhere outside the game, then it went to sideboard, and now its only cards that have been removed from the game. At least thats what people at the magic store where im from say.

Well, they are completely wrong. There's this website called Gatherer with card rulings. Here's one from Death Wish:

10/1/2009 You can't acquire exiled cards because those cards are still in one of the game's zones.
10/1/2009 In
a sanctioned event, a card that's "outside the game" is one that's in
your sideboard. In an unsanctioned event, you may choose any card from
your collection.
