I don't think its fair to cal this sites users concieted. I'm a casual player, the kind of Vorthos Johnny mix that will make decks with next to impossible win cons (cough cough battle of wits I'm looking at you) People on this site are pretty good about being friendly, we may occassionally call someone on a lackluster combo, but I wouldn't go so far as to say that most users of this site are concieted (on a side note this must sound increadibly concieted). I don't even think most users here think of themselves as the best of their playgroup. As you said you are newer here, so give them us some more time to win you over.

you mean conceited, but I feel this judgement if vastly unfair, as you have only been here for a week, sure we have shot down a lot of your combos, but there was a reason each time. Before you start passing judgements, I would request that you get to know us a little. There have been many who at times didn't like this site, but those that stuck around realized we were good people.

We aren't being conceited. There are legit reasons why your combos were "shot down". People usually like combos that have some chance of you actually getting it out. (Sorry for the weird wording)

It also doesn't help that you have Miley Cyrus in your name.

I actually have noticed that at most local tournaments lots of people just concede or drop! I am normally one of these people since i would rather be playing edh than sealed!

Its not that I have a huge problem with you people ( please don't say what do you mean you people lol ) its just you have to see it in my view. "Oh here is a website where I can read and post combos, well my decks have some cool combos so ill share them", then I post them and wait for comments. Now I expected the comments to be relevant to the combo, and an acceptable grammar complaint would of been, "I have a hard time following it do to your grammar but I can understand your motive", but instead I get nothing but insults on it. So tell me how am I not supposed to get frustrated with that. The intentions for my combos are edh only they suck in any other format and if you feel they aren't fast enough download apprentice and try them for yourselves, I seem to have no trouble winning with them so I cant see the problem with them.

This is a really weird thread. Yes, sometimes these people can be critical, but that's only because they want to keep the standard of combos high. When I first got here, I posted some combos I thought were good theoretically, but they were near impossible to pull off. You sort of have to learn to post things that people might actually use. I have bought singles of cards solely because I saw awesome combos on this site, so it has really helped me become a more innovative player.

Also, you have to realize this site attracts a certain type of player. mostly johnnies who want to make creative/helpful combos to either show that they can or to help others. This site is also a good resource whether you post or not.

Miley, I think you are taking the users of this site way too seriously. if they criticize your combo, there is probably a good reason, but that doesn't mean you should get upset about it. I think this is a decent community of players that have intentions of improving the quality of what you post. They are not simply "insulting" you as you put it. I have never seen anyone simply insult the OP without giving some sort of advice. Even if that advice is just, "this would never work"

Not all the combos are winners, and I'm sure there are examples of everyone on this site posting a lame or improbable combo, so it's not just you.

oh and designing combos exclusively for EDH isn't that good of an idea either. combos are a lot harder to pull off when u have nearly 99 different cards

I used to post crappy combos too and they were critcized.but thanks to everyone's input I learned what constitutes a practical and plausible combo. I haven't been on in awhile so I don't know what was said but if they are insulting you or your combos just ignore them and move on.
