I wanted to make a fast Eldrazi deck. It seems like it plays pretty fast, but I feel it could be faster... Suggestions?

Emrakul, the Aeons Torn x1
It That Betrays x2
Kozilek, Butcher of Truth x1
Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre x1
Blightsteel Colossus x2
Overgrown Battlement x4
Birds of Paradise x3
Llanowar Elves x3
Elvish Piper x3
Sol Ring x3
Rampant Growth x 4
Fog x4
Quicksilver Amulet x3
Time of Need x4

Lands:

Forest x10
Glimmerpost x4
Cloudpost x4
Eldrazi Temple x4

Well first of all you have like no removal which is a pretty big problem. Secondly you're very susceptible to decks with lots of removal and fast cheap creatures. I would suggest adding another color, although i'm not sure what one. Blue could add draw and counterspells which would protect your creatures and get more of them out. White has some powerful removal, and with so many non-land mana producers, you could use Armageddon and have a clear upper hand. I also would get rid of the blightsteel colossuses, but thats more for flavor reasons and a personal dislike I have for poison victories.

Blightsteel Colossus seems a bit like overkill, i say dump it for something like Norn's Annex, keeps non-white decks a bit wary of when they wanna attack you, and white decks will need mana or life to do it....or if you ran something like Remembrance for when your Eldrazi die...Eldrazi dies, Remembrance goes on stack, shuffle effect on stack, shuffle resolves, Remembrance resolves, grabbing eldrazi and putting it back in your hand.

It that Betrays is also a fun card, but seems to be another instance of Overkill...since this seems to be a kitchen table/Legacy deck, might i suggest Worldly tutor or Sylvan Tutor? helps bring up the eldrazi or the Piper to get them out there.

JMD! Where have you been, man???

Thanks for the suggestions. Yeah, Blightsteel might seem like overkill, but it's so much fun! I'll probably take him out, though. Norn's Annex and Remembrance are great ideas. Worldly Tutor is a good idea, but I kind of like Time of Need better since I get them into my hand. But, I could get ANY creature... Hmmm, I'll think about that one...

So with Remembrance, I would be able to get the Eldrazi back in my hand even though I shuffled and it's effects go first?

I just realized that if I have Remembrance out and any Eldrazi, I can wipe the board and have an Eldrazi out again as soon as the abilities resolve... :)

Tweaked it again and made it mono-green. The only type of deck that I've had problems with is counter and/or control type decks. What do y'all think?

Emrakul, the Aeons Torn x2
It That Betrays x2
Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre x2
Withstand Death x3
Birds of Paradise x4
Elvish Piper x3
Rampant Growth x4
Fog x3
Quicksilver Amulet x4
Swiftfoot Boots x3
Time of Need x4
Overgrown Battlement x4

Lands:

Forest x18
Cloudpost x4

(I'm also thinking of getting rid of the Cloudposts since I never hard-cast any of the Eldrazi...)

you could throw in an omnath to build the mana pool

It seems like he doesn't ever get to hard cast the Eldrazi, so Omnath wouldn't be too helpful.

Yeah, if I was hard casting these Eldrazi, I would definitely have Omnath. I can't really think of any other changes. I would like some ideas on what I could do against counter/control decks. Green seems to be pretty weak against countering.

I'm not sure I understand how those would help... I only have one other elf in the deck.

If you have trouble with people countering you, throw in a Gaea's Herald or a Vexing Shusher.

Captain, you're a genius. Vexing Shusher is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!

you should also through in wall of roots, they will compliment the overgrown battlements quite nicely.

turn 1: forest, lanowar elf
turn 2: forest, wall of roots, overdrown battlements

start of turn three, before even playing a land, you already have six mana!!!
if you put in doubling chant you could easily hard cast the bigger eldralzi turn five to get their casting effects.
