Title: Best Color for a vampire deck?

Could someone please tell me this. Which is better? R/B vampires, U/R/B vampires, U/B vampires, or  just mono- black. I'm having trouble deciding which to play. If I play multi-color I can use terminate and/or agony warp, but if I play mono I can use tendrils of corruption. Advice would be very much appreciated.

Depends on what your playing.  I play a BG Vamp deck but it is purly for fun.  For Standard I feel your best bet is mono-black especially due to the mana requirments of some of the better vamps, such as gatekeeper and nocturnus

Really does depend what format you are playing. I am guessing standard from what you are suggesting as cards. If that is the case, I would personally go Mono Black. Although not like for like, you can substitute Terminate with Doom Blade or thowing in Royal Assassin.

Mono black vampire is still easier too handle... Because most of the key cards are higher mana cost compared to other tribes.. If you put any more colors in a vampire deck there will be mana screw... I've seen mana screws with mono black vampire decks. what more for two color- or worse three color-vampire deck..

After a little experimenting I came to a conclusion: Mono-black is the overall best choice. Thanks for the insight everyone.

Very similar base set up to me in black. I am assuming like me you are on a bit of a budget hence no Graven Cairns or anything like that. One thing I would do is drop Peatbog and bring in Everglades. Still providing 2 mana, doesn't get sacrificed and costs pennies.

I would recomend taking out a few hexmages and adding a few Bloodseekers. Also if you can, throw in a few Unholy Strengths and Blades of the Bloodchief.

I like the idea of the creature pump, and taking out peat bog may help things flow a bit better. I'll try it out and see if it plays well.

Come on guys, you can't have a proper vampire deck without Baron Signir

Signir Vampire is also really good, throw on a Vampiric Link and a Gorgan Flail and you have Vampire
Nighthawks father.

Definately, not a ligitamite vampire deck without the Baron Sengir, and Sengir vampire in there.

since he is not playing standard, i don't know if I'll stay mono-black.  The other colors all have something to offer, with green you got the accl necessary to get to your better vamps.  Red gives you some direct damage options to finish off that creature you vamp damaged, white gets you some life and cheap tokens (crovax is one of my favorite), blue offers control and Szadek (which in itself is an interesting take on a vamp deck)

Okay, you really don't need tendrils of corruption. It just kills one creature and gives you X life. take those out and get Corrupt. Same thing, but 6 drop and you can target a creature OR a player. Also, Ascendant Evincar isn't just horrible in a mono-black vamp deck, since it kills every non-black 1/1 creature. Also since Worldwake came out, you should get Butcher of Malakir and Anowan, the Ruin Sage. Kalastria is also good if you're facing a burn/control deck.
