So they finally posted the Innistrad mechanics, and I was wondering what you guys though about them:

Double-faced cards
Morbid
Flashback (is back... so many puns so little time.)
Curses
"Fight" (the new evergreen mechanic.

Morbid and Curses look to be fun. The double-faced cards don't seem anything special, except that everyone using them will need sleeves.

I see Morbid cards being played in control. Ilook forward to seeing the other Transform cards.

On one hand I think that the Transforms cards are interesting....but it seems like an unnecessary hassle. What is on these new cards that make it so that they can't just use the Flip mechanism that was in the Kamigawa block? I sincerely hope Wizards has a reason other than just something for the sake of being "new" and "different". I also really like curses too, but I also know that means we might be getting a lot of too-specific removal cards, like Trapfinder's Trick, that won't see much play outside of the block and that are going to just take up space in the new set.

That whole Flip thing will get confusing very fast! Especially if there are multiple on the battlefield.

by the gods those flip cards will get annoying.  think about how many websites will have to change their format.  How are they going to show it in gatherer anyway?

Transform adds some much-needed flavor back into the game. I loved morph and this ability is like morph got a missile launcher...as for morbid...well it's kinda pointless...as for fights...meh just saves me a breath (Dammit all Wizards! Change something that matters...like replace puts top card of library into grave with mills X) As far as curses...pretty much flavor fodder as well....and about damn time at that! Naturally there will probably be some creature that tutors up a curse (or an sorcery at the very least) Flashback was always a favorite mechanic of mine...(Mostly due to dread return..) As far as things go I think innistrad is shaping up to bring about some pretty sweet changes to how we play the game...

I really don't see anything special in M12. I guess that Rise of the Eldrazi kind of ruined it for me though, with all the weird huge creatures.

Just noticed this..... Garruk Relentless is listed on the Checklist card..... Transforming Planeswalkers?? How confusing will that be! But I'm excited to see some cool flavorful abilities on him though

Not feeling these mechanics. Maybe I'll change my mind when I play them, though. We'll see...

Just use your imagination. One moment it's a human, the next BAM! The mist covers it! And with a howl the great beast emerges with dripping fangs and eyes that can pierce through night! It snarls at your opponent, it's bloodlust just waiting to be unleashed.

As for fights...meh...everybody was kungfu fighting!

And for Morbid...well regretably the vultures from jungle book come to mind...

and flashback...um...you opened an old photo album?

Finally curses...picture your opponent when the effect triggers, clutching his/her skull as memories and knowledge start to fade away...loved ones and fond memories gone...forever...(Every time tome scour is cast you forget 5 people's birth dates)

I like the transform for werewolves, but nothing else. . .

The transforms can be interesting, but I don't think we are going to see alot of them outside casual.  It seems most of the ones revealed to us rely on no spells being played the turn before, how often are we going to see that.

I like the idea of fight as it gives green an option for target removal, something it was sorely lacking

Flashback is ok, it'll depend on what spells are associated with them, I wasn't to fond of alot of the cards that had flashback orginally

Jurys still out on morbid, right now I'm not impressed

curses-auras with another name, and I agree with what was mentioned earlier it'll spawn some pointless curse specfic cards to go with it.
