I wanna make a Mortis Dog deck... Preferably no more than two colors (leaning towards red, but negotiable).

Reply with ideas?

I play with mortis dogs in standard, mono-black, and it works great with nim deathmantle. It becomes a 6/4 (when attacking) with evasion which is sweet, just throw in a sac engine so that they lose 6 more life, then pay 4 to bring it back. It can be costly, but doing it once per turn by turn 5 isn't bad, especially when supported with doom blades/go for the throats. If I had to add a color it wouldn't be red, but rather blue. Distortion stirke on it plus draws and counters along with blacks removal? Sounds solid to me.

i'd go with both blue and red as other colors for it... blue for shapeshifters/counters/etc, red for fling/removal/etc.
