So, in the great game of Magic I find there are a few cards that will always make their way into my decks. Your opinions and other indispensible cards:

Soul / Essence Warden+Death Greeter

Skyshroud Elf

Library of Leng

Frostwielder

Kusari Gama

Fatestitcher

Dark Ritual and Darkness hit my black decks

Mother Of Runes & Equinox in white decks

Rancor & Gaea's Embrace in my green

Also Wall of Junk tends to hit most of my decks.

For My black deck, i tend to always look at Dark Ritual. Almost every time i compose a deck, DR is there.

For Blue, it tend to put boomerang all the time.

For Red, First thing that comes into my mind is Lightning Bolt. And who would not put LB in their red deck. one red mana for 3 damage.

For my Green deck, Naturalize, Vitalize and Gaea's Blessing always makes it there. Eternal Witness is not always in my green deck but it is next to the list after the first 3 green cards.

For White, White Knight is my main man...

For artifacts, i like ornithopter and paradise mantle.. Mix those two and you get a low cost and much easier to cast "Birds of Paradise". And tougher too..

I actually have a reason not to put Lightning Bolt in a red deck, and that reason is Lava Spike. Almost the same effect, but you can't target creatures, and it's cheaper.

For me:
Red - Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle. nobody should ever run a mono red deck and not have this card in there.
Green - Mana Reflection. Double your mana, and since the manaburn rule was removed, it has no flaws.
White - Kithkin Rabble. a four drop with vigilance. if you have many one drop cards, he could be a 6/6 when he comes into play.
Blue - Roilwater Elemental. This card is broken... seriously.
Black - Dark Ritual. Enough said.
I know I'm posting to old threads, but some of these forums need more life in them. :D

Yeah, but if you know how to roll a green deck that wont matter.

I'm an MTGO player, and I mostly play EXTENDED format. In every single non-Standard Deck, I run 2 "Tinmen" http://www.mtgotraders.com/store/MRD_Solemn_Simulacrum.html

He is SO useful!! He fetches a land, he can block, and when he dies, u draw a card! Im crossing my fingers WOTC brings him back in M11 or some other newer set. :-)
