Title: Commander rules Question.

I can't seem to find an answer for this on the web site so i was hoping some one here would know.

If your commander has a graveyard triggering effect like "When this card is put into the graveyard (x) happens" Does it trigger if you put it in the command zone instead. I would not think so but timing is key. If the commander went to the graveyard first it would? Right? What's the ruling here?

When your Commander would go to the graveyard, you make the choice where it will go before it goes anywhere.

If you choose the graveyard, any triggered graveyard effects are triggered and it stays in the graveyard.

If you choose command zone, it does not go into into the graveyard and no triggered graveyards occur.
