My fave blue cards in M12: Belltower Sphinx, Levitation, Merfolk Mesmerist (NO JACE IN M12!! *sad face*)

My fave black cards is M12: Brink of Disaster, DOOM BLADE!, Sengir Vampire (finally a reprint!), Sorin

My fave red cards in M12: Chandra's Phionex, Flameblast Dragon, Furyborn Hellkite, ALL GOBLINS (lol Goblin Grenade), Inferno Titan, SHOCK! (yay another reprint!), Slaughter Cry (just for the pic),

My fave green cards in M12: Dungrove Elder, Garruk's Companion, Garruk's Horde, PRIMEVAL TITAN!, Titanic Growth

My fave Artifacts in M12: Quicksilver Amulet

Collector's Highlights

Magic: The Gathering 2012 Core Set features 249 black-bordered cards, including randomly inserted premium versions of all cards in the set. It is available in booster packs, intro packs, and fat packs.

I counted 142 cards released. That puts it at about 2/3's spoiled

so how come jace get's a new card every time but the other guys don't? I think that's kinda dumb. I would like to have seen what else they could do with Sorin.

Red is already been broken with just the previews.

Yes, each Planeswalker in Magic: 2012 will have a new version except Gideon Jura and Sorin Markov.

I hope they come out with some new love for the others.... :S as much as Jace is cool and all (Plus ubber expensive) I like new things. and I was excited for a new Sorin to put in with my vamps. but no. :'( depressing. ah well. I will just go make things explode with my brand new Goblin Gernade! :D!

I have to say one thing about this new set.  It's looking like I'll be playing mono blue arrgo-control when it comes out.  Lord of the unreal is great and if krovikan comes out damn.. throw in diminsh and turn to frog for control

Maybe it's just me, but the black thirst combined with the red burn spells just seems... SO EPIC!! I"m really excited to combine the vamps with red. I'm praying for a Nighthawk reprint... :D

Sengir Vampire's coming back. That leaves potential for Black/Red Vampires.

I'm really liking the look of these red cards too. Grim Lavamancer, Incinerate, Shock, Goblin Arsonist, and Goblin Grenade. This looks like a good chance for me to make a Goblin deck.

Otherwise, I don't see much too special. Gideon gets some new friends and Green gets some protection (Super-Shroud). Jace gets a horrible card, just like his others.

Did I miss anything important?
