I was scrolling through some cards on this site and started to wonder just how much money an artist makes from doing the artwork for MTG cards. Take Mark Zug for example - according to this site he has done 130 cards, look here:

If he earned $1,000 a card, that'd be 130k. Not too shabby! Anyone have any idea how much a typical card's artwork earns an artist?
