Even with new Phrexia out, I for one am more pumped for inistrad and M12 later this year. Red looks to be overpowered, hopefully the set is going to be more balanced than the rares and mythics.

Dies? Stop dumbing down the game. We can handle goes to the graveyard honestly the last time I saw something like dies on a card was



Yeah. Kills. Honestly we can handle bury and destroy and goes to the graveyard. We don't need dies.

Maybe that's the new wording for put into a graveyard... it's shorter...

I personally like dies. It's flavorful. Like the creature is actuallly alive. Hopefully we will see an assassinate with" Kill target tapped creature."

get this flavorful text:

When Caller of the Claw enters the battlefield, put a 2/2 green Bear creature token into the battlefield for each non-token creature that died this turn.

Or we get to see:
When Caller of the Claw lives, put a 2/2 green Bear
creature token into the battlefield for each non-token creature that
died this turn.

Making the "enters the battlefield" into "lives" keyword...

The story behind dies is that most players just say dies as their slang and since it's much shorter and rolls of the tounge easier, the went with it.

I understand dies, but lives wouldn't work, simply because creatures live before they are summoned.

You know summoned could work as "enters the battlefield"

nope... summoning is casting a creature spell... ETB may be caused by reanimating a creature, summoning a creature, putting a token, returned from exiled, etc.

I don't know about that either, as Lin said... Creatures live/exist even before they are summoned...
