Prehaps try splashing some Eldrazi Spawn? I once saw a red/green deck turn fairly lethal with 5 spawn and a Beastmaster's Acension down. Maybe adjust the creature to noncreature ratio a little bit? I personally use more creatures than noncreatures when playing a deck with a lot of creature targets. Some harrows or growth spasms could help you get your big guys down (not to mention thinning the deck.)  You may wish to abandon the vendettas in favor of either: Duress, Despise, or Beast Within(for the sake of planeswalker hate.) As far as your lands go, may I recommend tectonic edge? (It's a fun way to hate on manlands as well as Valakut.) At any rate these suggestions are subject to mass scrutiny and paranoia based on my new fear that every player I sit down to play against is gonna play Valakut, I swear it's been weeks since I've played a deck without at least two tectonic edges in it. If there is a just and loving god in this world, then once Valakut leaves standard that will be the last of strategies based around a single land. (And yes, I'm glaring at  you MR. OH LOOK IT'S AN INKMOTH NEXUS DECK WITH FIFTEEN VERSIONS OF GIANT GROWTH AND A FEW ARTIFACTS. I'M SO CLEVER JUST BECAUSE I BUILT A COMPLETELY GREAT DECK BECAUSE I HAVE THE MINDSET OF A GOBLIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have officially cursed standard, just when I think I can play without tectonic edge they give me another reason to run it...bastards...)  Okay, rant over, but still not bad for a black/green deck that isn't from Ravnica or Shadowmoor. Kudos.

PS: Sorry about the non-basic hate rant, but if this is what building on a budget is coming to, I don't wanna see the nonbudget version will look like.

no kidding about the budget thing, at the prerelease I saw like 3 or 4 people running stoneforge mystic, squadron hawk, and a sword, one person tried to use a 5 color M11 titan deck, it didn't work out to well, and thanks for the feedback I think it will help a lot
