Is anyone else disappointed in the abilities? Following the trend of the swords the abilities have matched the colors, but this seems a little odd. I guess if combined with Sword of Fire and Ice it would be good for the extra card draw....I know that there is potential but its not anything of what i thought of for this card. Hell my friends at the store did not see this coming.

I think it's just...meh! It's not the greatest sword, I mean sword of feast and famine is far more epic (and for good reason too).

but equipped critter gets protection from both Akroma... equipped on a white knight and White knight will have prot from most creature removals...

Good point Shakii. Also I think punishing opponents for cards in hand and rewarding yourself for it seems like a very relevant ability.

I do agree that it doesn't have the same feel as the other swords in the cycle though.

Gaining life and doing damage is super awesome obviously :P ...

As well as protection from stuff like lightning bolts and path to exile :)

that's what i said... Most removals like LB, PtE, Go for the throat, Doom Blade, etc...

Well I don't know about you guys,but all this sword does for me in the current format, is give me another target for contagion clasp,tumble magnet, crush,duress,or brittle effigy.
