What is your impression of the new set Worldwake? I know all the cards are not out yet on the spoiler but I am seeing some monster of cards being produced. Vamp decks are going to be more nasty, Mill decks are getting nasty, and i got a feeling that green/red decks are going to start popping out hard.

I have seen some of the new cards, and they do look pretty broken and easy to combo/make decks out of. But honestly, every set after Shards of Alara pissed me off (*glares at M10 heavily).

The most OP block set yet to come out was easily the Urza's Saga set, which combo'd with pretty much every card printed up till that point, and combo'd VERY well with cards within its set.  Im starting to see worldwake as the new Urza's saga lol.  IT EVEN HAS MANLANDS!

Frankly with what I am seeing with worldwake, I don't like.  The last few sets (actually starting with shards) have had a major discrepency with the difference in the power between the differant cards especially when paired with there relative mana costs.  Look at worldwake you have a card coming out which can be played 1st turn and can give you a 7/11 shrouded, island walking , trampler by turn 4, by doing nothing. no tricks, no combos, it'll just happen-now I don't mind it happening, however you should have to work for something like that.   Also I don't like the lack of removal the only one they have shown so far(yes I know only half the set has been shown) won't handle most of the major threats, including that 18/18 put out 2 turns ago for 3

With the exception of a few things i am starting to have doubts about this set. This entire block is suppose to be set on landfall and bring back the premise of using basic lands is a good thing. For a while Wizards was getting pissed off at the fact that all people wanted to play with were the nonbasic land types to construct decks around and not focusing on the use of spells and their importance to accomadate for the land/mana generation.

Looking at the visual spoiler since it was first released I am getting very peeved over the fact that I seems to have a lot more token fixation than anything currently. I know, I know I need to wait until the official and complete listing comes out however out of all the cards they have shown only a select few have caught my interest and this is to be: THE SMALLEST SET IN THE BLOCK!!!! The Rise of the Eldrazi is to be the largest set in the block. So large that it will only be drafted by itself and with no other set M10, Zendikar, or worldwake. WHY, oh, WHY must this be.

Ok so I have been wondering about this card [ Bazaar Trader ]

How does the combo work with the card [ Act of Treason ]

I have heard that you keep the creature, but how does this even work?

That is actually kind of tough to answer each as its own advantages and dis's.  i feel alot wil depend on what else you are playing, hows your removal, whats the curve of your deck can you give up the land,

In standard I am currently playing a burn, control deck so I like the dread the lower mana to bring it out, plus I can use him as mana rather then just attacking, not to mention I don't need to worry about soceries on my oppenets turn other then LD, which allows me keep my mana for the burn
