Title: I complain to you guys instead of Wizards

So I always thought that one of the most interesting cards in the game was:
Enter the Dungeon
And naturally we all know about:
Shahrazad
But notice that there are no legal cards involving subgames?
Which if you ask me is a huge loss on MTG's part.
After legalizing several un cards in our game group we quickly saw some really cool speed/stall hybrid decks using Enter the Dungeon.  And think about how cool some cards could be.

A blue card that starts a subgame where each player starts with a hand of 14 and can play two land cards per turn, the winner can search his deck for 2 cards and put them into his hand.

A green card that starts a subgame, but each player starts with three random creatures from his deck in play, the winner can distribute five +1/+1 counters amoung his creatures

A red card that starts a subgame where each player can deal 1 damage more than the previous round to target creature or player.  The winner can deal 7 damage divided as he choses.

These are just some cards I can think of right now, and you can see a use for each, the important part is they all are accelerated from a normal game.

I like this! I might add some cards that make subgames to the set I'm making.

Umm, the green one seems like it would be overpowered. It would make more sense if there was something like: during this subgame, at the beginning of each player's upkeep, that player chooses a color. that player then adds one(or two, it's your set) mana of the chosen color to his/her mana pool. until end of turn, this mana does not empty from your pool at the ends of steps and phases.

A subgame like that for one mana could make games go on for a really long time.

Why did wizards stop printing subgame cards.... hmmm.... maybe it had something to do with the fact that they could make pieces of cardboard with pictures on them worth $20-$100 in value by making the game overly competitive. (Glares at Jace and Gideon, who then slowly sneak away while whistling awkwardly.)

Well you know it's true. Why else would they stop printing fun cards? I still run goblin swat team and after I say it I add quickly, "Morons slap tables."

Well, have you seen the new Karn? His limitbreak say to "restart the game"! How is that not fun and screwy?

... Damn...hungry's right... that is fun and screwy...wow....um....give me a second....(Searches google for problems with magic the gathering)...um...Magic the gathering tactics has....teething problems? You know what I say? People should still complain, because without complaints would our great nation be what it is today? (a post-depression economy teetering on the brink of a economic cliff fall) Yes it is, because people didn't complain enough, they were content with "reasonable" prices and decent wage increases. HOW DARE THEY! Those people who are content are the reason things never change, I therefore suggest a plan. Every month we should find something new to bitch about, and hopefully this will put WOTC on the right track and bring back the game we love(super mario bros.?). Once we convert WOTC we will then move on to the major cities teaching others the joys of complaining.

In the words of some famous guy, "LET MY PEOPLE COMPLAIN!"

*Sigh* I know I'm gonna regret asking, but what is your problem with banding?

It isn't around anymore!

Let's face it, once people actually manage to get past the "banding? wtf is that?" stage they found it to be a very tactical and creative tool, that allowed for some very interesting deck builds and some dangerous bands.  And wizards has just been renaming abilities for the new sets anyway, so I think they should go back to basics.

Again we come back to the same explanation. Why be creative, when you can be competetive? Creativity will always yield less money than competetiveness.

I had a worse time explaining banding than that card from Ice Age that looked like it was written by Stephen King that nobody ever could figure out the rules text for!

Personally, I don't know what's wrong with just playing a game.

Heck, why not bring back Ante!

Me and my buddies play ante whenever we do pack wars. The only time it sucks is whenever you found out you had an inkmoth in the ante and your opponent only had a token.

My turn to complain. Why do black phyrexians get their praetor before all the others? It's not fair that they get Sheoldred while self respecting white phyrexians have to pull Elesh from a booster pack. That is hardly color equality. What? Are we white phyrexians not good enough to get a prelease praetor? I have a dream...where both black and white phyrexians can have equal terms of leadership rather than black phyrexians getting double standards. Thats it I'm starting the phyrexian rights movement, this injustice is so not what the great work was all about back when our founding father of machines established this great work, that all phyrexians are created (more or less) equal (but not in size, I mean have you seen Sheoldred's butt? When she sits around the core, she sits AAAROUNNDD the core.). And are endowed with certain uninalienable rights (fish tacos on wednesdays?) and as long as a single drop of phyrexian oil courses through my veins I shall not let this injustice go unpunished! (or I'll just play scrabble, haven't decided yet. Maybe parcheesi...hmmmmmm....makes me think of mild cheddar dip. YUM!)
