Planeswalkers are only considered spells while they are on the stack, once they resolve, they just do their planeswalker things.

to -ally cyber nar-
no, they do not
when cards have summoning sickness, it means they cant enter the battlefield and tap during the same turn, but if a creature has vigilance, is can attack when it comes into the battlefied, because it won't tap

Actually, you are sort of right. Summoning sickness does only affect creatures, but your idea of what summoning sickness does is a bit off. A creature that is affected by summoning sickness can't attack, nor can it use activated abilities with the tap symbol in their costs.

Example: You play a Birds of Paradise turn 1. That creature can't attack, nor can it tap for mana that turn. However, a Grand Architect can tap itself for its own ability the turn it enters the battlefield because the ability does not include a tap symbol.

Example: You play a Raging Goblin (1/1 for {R} with haste) on turn 1. You can attack with that creature this turn. If you play a Mystic Penitent (1/1 for {W} with vigilance) turn 1, it can't attack until your next turn.

Also summoning sickness may only apply to creatures, but it does keep track of other permants. For instance, you play a normal artifact, then in the same turn, you turn that artifact into a creature, it still has summoning sickness, so if you turn a planeswalker into a creature on the turn it comes into play, than it could not attack, this the only case with planeswalkers.
