If I play Faerie Trickery and while it is on the stack can I play Mistbind Clique and champion it?
Exact text on card for champion
When this comes into play sacrifice it unless you remove another faerie you control from the game.

No. The card is on the stack but never in play. Only perminates are in play.

But champion doesn't specify permanent

You are right Lin it doesn't say permanant, however it doesn't say "card" either. faeries can only exist on the battlefield, everywhere else it is a faerie card, and would specify faerie card if it could remove something from elsewhere. See Seculed glen for an example
The lack of the word "card" means that it has to be a permanant
