Ok, so I've noted that Mistform Ultimus's ability has not been erratad into the changeling ability, which implies that.

Form what I believe, if the mistform loses its abilities, than it is still every creature type, but if a changeling loses its abilities it becomes a shapshifter only

@Lin-Type changing effects occur in Layer 4, while effects that cause the lose of abilitys occur in layer 6. You apply the affects of the different layers in order starting with layer 1. As a result of this for both the ultimus and a changling, the card will gain all creature types before it loses the ability. So with humility in play the ulitmus and the turtleshell will both be 1/1 with no abilitys and all creature types.
@ghostfire- you joke but that is probally close to the reason why, though I am sure there were some money concerns as well. In the end they are fundemental the same thing, to so their was no need to errate the ultimus. Now, if there were cards that affected changlings such as something that says "When you cast a changling; draw a card" you would see the mistform erattad at that time.
