Batman in conjunction with Chuck Norris does. Seriously though Sync is the only admin I've ever seen.

Phyrexians, plain and simple. They will track all of us through our IP addresses, and then one by one earth falls to phyrexia due to our addiction to the internet..curse you lolcats, curse you......or Sync could be an information lich fueled by the amount of activity on the site....or maybe....the matrix.

Retroactivly adding features can be very hard. Also IM is almost a hole new application. The other 2 would be much easier respectivly, but still hard to add.

Private messaging means something like an e-mail version of forums... it's different from instant messaging...

All of those depend on how the databasing is set up, and could turn out to be very simple, or could require a complete redo of the site. . .

Frankly i like the pming idea, allow you to talk to someone off the record and set up games and such,

As for the other items I don't see a use for them you can see the current users on the first few pages of the forums and I can use the card search to narrow down my search for a post

Let's say you want to search for JMDin83... he haven't posted for a long time so you can't find much of his posts to be able to PM him... so we need a user search...

then let's say you're searching for a specific keyword on General chat which you can't really search using cards and combos search...

General chatroom would work nicely
